Amboseli is one of the popular safari destinations due to its huge herds of elephants, predators, herbivores and numerous bird species including ostriches and a variety of lowland game. Amboseli is famous for its dramatic scenery and open spaces, as well as its magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Two springs provide a constant supply of water - corresponding to the name 'place of water' in the Maasai language.

Travel plan:
Pick up from hotel or Nairobi airport and drive to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at booked accommodation for check-in.
Opportunity to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, zebras, black buffaloes, wild boars, various birds and, of course, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at a booked camp or lodge.
Early morning safari followed by breakfast. After breakfast, go on a safari and leave the park in the direction of Sarova Salt Lick Lodge. This is a complex of round houses on pegs located above a number of reservoirs. Two-story towers with pointed thatched roofs are connected by open bridges and create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. You can watch the animals that come to drink at the pools and take in spectacular views in all directions as Salt Leek offers breathtaking open panoramic views.
Early morning safari followed by breakfast. After breakfast, go on a safari and leave the park in the direction of the beach hotel. Stop for lunch at Lion Hill in Voy before continuing to your hotel where you will arrive late in the afternoon. Transfer to your beach hotel.
